Pixel Map Output
I am trying to use the Pixel Mapper with Artnet output to run some pixel strip. Screenmonkey appears not to be rendering the output.
I think I have the pixel map set up correctly, and the nodes are appearing green (no conflicts). On the artnet settings it shows Universe 0 being sent, and the status is green.
The program monitor shows the pixel map, but doesn't display any output. Under General Settings, should the display profile be set to 'DMX Control' or 'Primary Full Screen'? I've seen occasional bits of output when changing the display profile, but it only works for a short time. Using "the artnetominator" it appears some data is being sent, but only 1 packet every few seconds.
As a test I changed the display renderer back to standard and restarted, and it displays fine on the screen, so I don't think it's anything silly like the faders being down.
Any pointers on where to look? I've had other program generating artnet and displaying on my strings, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.

Problem viewing video
Hi
I am new to Screen Monkey,
I am running Windows 8 64 bit and have installed Screen monkey and the full codec pack. I have a normal Av monitor and also a HDMI output to a TV
I have set the display to extended desktop and selected full screen secondary monitor.
I can get JPGs to display but when I add video nothing happens. I have tried MP4 Mpeg II, AVI and none of them will play. Can anyone help?
I am in a Pink Floyd tribute band and we would like to use the software to display the movies through our projector

Second File Not full Screen on extended screen

Thanks very much for any help with this issue. First off I have been using Screen Monkey for years and think it is a fabulous program. Thank you to all the developers.
My issue simply is this:
Running Windows 10
I put multiple files in the dashboard (video and jpegs) and the first dashboard window display just fine on the extended projector screen. When I click on the second file the image or video is cut in half and half of the desktop is visible. I have attached photos...very strange that it works perfectly well in the first dashboard square but not any others after that. Also, if I go back to the first dashboard square the image is no longer full screen it is cut in half. I have to click X for clear and then click the first image and it is full screen again.
Images attached I have used the same image in both instances so you can see the difference between square one and two on the extended projector screen.
Okay I can't attach an image, I keep getting a server error has occured with my 210 kb files

Where did it go!!!!!
Hey Guys & thx ahead of time for the responce, YOU GUYS ROCK!. I started SM and all my pages I made all gone. How can i pull back the original pages I had or tell SM where it is so my pages will load back up. By the way, I've already tried restarting SM 4 times with no effect and also the computer 2 x's.

Information for screen monkey pro using blackmagic decklink studio 4k
Hi I am new to screen monkey. I have a windows7 computer with a black magic decklink studio 4k capture card and I wanted to know if with the pro version can I have a live video feed input from the decklink and also make screen monkey send the secondary monitor to the decklink output?

CITP/MSEX problems Chamsys
I have a pc running Chamsys MagicQ linked via ethernet to another pc running SM. MagicQ is unlocked with a PC wing, bot consoles are running in 2.39.243.X IP range, subnet 255.0.0.0. SM has a pro license.
Under artnet settings it says i have artnet and dmx connection, i can ping the server but can not retrieve images and MagicQ says "media server1 no connection) even though when i click check server it says there is a reply. Back in SM under CITP it says there is no CITP or MSEX. Every once in a while SM acts like it wants to work and flashes on and off like there's a bad connection.

SM v3.7
DMX profile for SM v3.6
is there any difference between dmx profiles for 3.6 and 3.7? there is not currently a profile for 3.7.

Multiple screens
Hi,
I have multiple screens connected to my computer but wish to output Screen Monkey to a specific one. In the options there's only the Secondary Monitor available which isn't the correct monitor. Is there a way to specify which monitor I want to output to? Thanks

Pause Audio
Hi, I have recently started using Screen Monkey for the 30 minute interval at our village community cinema.
Before the film and in the intermission, I show a newsreel of mainly slides to publicise local events, this cycles around in around 3 to 5 minutes.
Screen Monkey is great for this, because I also run a selection of music tracks at the same time. Hopefully relevant to the film being shown. The audio track is ongoing and not repeated.
The problem comes when now I want to advertise the local choir in the loop, and their ad comes with audio as well.
How do I pause my audio track for the duration of the choir advert, and continue after from where it left off, (or even the next track would be ok) ?
I hope somebody can help.

Anybody used Sparkocam with Screen Monkey?
Okay, so I've got a Nikon D7100, and I've got it working fine with Sparkocam. If you're not familiar, Sparkocam is software that utilizes the direct feed from the camera like a webcam via USB. Without it, you have to use HDMI, which requires a not cheap HDMI input.
Problem: When I set Screen Monkey to use the Sparkocam Virtual Webcam as the source for a live video, everything looks like it's going to work fine. When I click on the clip where the live video is set to run, nothing happens on screen. Screen Monkey throws an error in the log, "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." Followed by, "Unable to start ArtNet output due to a network error! See inner exception for more details."
Has anyone ever tried what I'm doing here? This is the first time I've attempted making this work. The implementation is so that I can provide a live feed of the actor/speaker on stage via a rear projection screen above and behind the actor. This screen also has to play videos and stills, and it's hard to do that seamlessly without Screen Monkey and the live video clip option.
Any thoughts?

Display Problems
I have downloaded v3.7 of SM along with the Standard version of K-Lite Codec, but unable to run Power Point or videos. On some videos, a thumbnail appears but won't run. With PP nothing at all happens.
Any suggestions or fixes?

Linking to an image from a video file
Hi just wondering whether this is possible because I'm having it difficult trying to get it to work.
I have a video clip which has a duration of 3:30 and would like to link it to an image after 10 secs. So I created the link(timer) which I set for 3:40 however when the clip finishes it instantly displays the image without waiting the 10 secs. I can successfully link image to image with the timer function but wondering whether you can do the same with linking videos.

Layers Dashboard not appearing
I accidentally exited the Layers Dashboard last night and I can't get it back. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling, repairing twice, right clicking on the black window but nothing works.
I've even tried opening the .smx file again and again and this hasn't achieved anything either.
Is there a way around this? I've attached a screenshot of the problem. I'm hoping someone's had this issue before.
There's no menu options either (File, Edit etc.)

Songs not linking with next item in spaces.
I was trying to build a space that had a mix of text and song clips. This worked fine, however I am having to use the Go key to move beyond the end of each song clip.
As we use a clicker from the front that doesn't work.
I tried to specifically tell it which text to goto at end, but didn't help.
I tried searching for anyone that may have had the same problem here on the forums but didn't find anything.

Live Monitor shows no timecode
Hey guys,
I'm using screen monkey here in a theatre for presentation of video clips.
My configuration:
Lenovo Yoga with Win 10 64bit
Resolution on both screens: Full HD
.NET installed
K-Lite installed
Everything works fine, only the timecode in Live Monitor isnt working.
It shows 00:00:00 all the time in Video Layer view.
Play/Pause buttons and volume slider are working.
Has anyone an idea how to fix that?
